“Momma called. And when momma calls, you just have to come runnin’.” – Paul “Bear” Bryant
I’ve lived all over the country, but have always considered South Carolina home. It’s nice to be home.
I am a proud graduate of The University of Alabama – ROLL TIDE.
Following my time in Tuscaloosa, I played golf professionally and remain competitive on the amateur level. Upon retiring from professional golf, I began a whirlwind career in politics. First working for the South Carolina House Republican Caucus in Columbia, then Special Assistant to Tim Scott in Washington, DC, and Political Director on Rick Santorum’s 2012 presidential campaign. Following 2012, I led the Missouri Republican Party as executive director for two cycles while building supermajorities in the legislature and maintaining the only Republican statewide constitutional officer.
In the world of politics, the State of Ohio has historically been ground zero. When the opportunity was presented to set-up the foundation of a statewide campaign in Columbus, I gladly accepted the challenge. After my time with the now State Auditor Keith Faber, I joined Governor Kasich’s administration in the Lt. Governor’s office as Director of Outreach.
In 2019, home called. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson offered me an opportunity to return home as his Senior Advisor.
Life has a funny way of coming full circle.
In December 2022, the private sector threw a curveball. Charter Communications, a Fortune 500 broadband and cable provider, offered the chance to return the State Legislature – albeit from a different perspective. The State Government Affairs team needed a South Carolina lead.
I am excited about my role as the Vice President of Government Affairs here at the Greenville Chamber and director of the Upstate Chamber Coalition.
Let’s get to work.
