UCC Legislative Survey Now Open!
October 1, 2019Meet the Team: Will Salmon

I am from Alexandria, Virginia and have lived in the D.C. area my whole life. I came down to the upstate to attend Furman University where I am currently a senior Politics and International Affairs and Chinese Studies double major. I am very passionate about the legislative process and government affairs in general as well as the Chinese language and culture.
This past summer I interned at Whitmer & Worrall LLC, a boutique bipartisan lobbying firm in Washington D.C. The summer before that, I interned at FTI Consulting in their government affairs department, also in Washington D.C. I enjoyed my roles working in government affairs at both firms. When I am not working or doing school work, I enjoy drawing, playing golf, and rooting for my favorite Washington area sports teams and the Syracuse Orange.
This fall I am going to be a Business Advocacy intern for the Greenville Chamber, and I am very excited for this opportunity. I am very interested in learning how the Chamber helps its members on the state and local level and hope help in any way that I can.
