Here are a few articles you may have missed this week. Take a few minutes and get smarter before church coffee hour this Sunday…

1. House want to hear more about selling Santee Cooper. The Santee Cooper (or Kuppah!) soap opera returns for a third season.
2. Senate approves rules to prevent filibusters. Limiting debate in the the Deliberative Body ruffled some feathers. Was this because of last year’s education reform debacle, or previewing another major fight this spring?
3. Nikki Haley starts PAC as 2024 White House bid takes shape. It is no secret that the former Governor and UN Ambassador has her sights set on the White House. This is a major step toward getting there.
4. SC expands who can get COVID shots. Gotta get needles in arms, people. Get the vaccine… if you’re over 70, it’s your turn in line.
5. Senate to juggle impeachment trial, Biden agenda. Can the US Senate walk and chew bubble gum at the same time? We’ll see in the next few weeks.

Bonus: The Capitol Steps to shut down after four decades. If you never saw the Capitol Steps live, you really missed out. Sad to see this political institution fall. One last casualty of 2020, we suppose.
