Voter Registration Deadline Extended

Electronic Voting, a hand poised over a selection on the electronic ballot.

The deadline to register to vote in the election on November 6th was extended this week. You now have until next Tuesday, October 17th to register to vote. All applications must be received or postmarked by that date.

Attorney General Alan Wilson filed suit at the end of September asking the state to extend the deadline, arguing that disruption created by Hurricane Florence was too burdensome for voters and election officials.
